Prospective 91视频 students whose primary financial supporter meets any of the conditions set forth below may apply to have their fees for the FY2015 entrance examinations (including those administered by a Faculty or Graduate School as well as by the University itself) waived.
Applicants may be exempt from paying the examination fees if their primary financial supporter:
- Died in the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami (hereinafter "Earthquake") in a region subject to Higashi-Nihon Daishinsai ni Kakaru Saigai Kyujo Ho ("Disaster Relief Act Relating to the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami", hereinafter "Disaster Relief Act")
- Died in the Earthquake in a region deemed equivalent to those subject to the Disaster Relief Act
- Had his/her home partially or totally destroyed or burned down, or inundated above floor level, due to the Earthquake in a region subject to the Disaster Relief Act
- Had his/her home partially or totally destroyed or burned down, or inundated above floor level, due to the Earthquake in a region deemed equivalent to those subject to the Disaster Relief Act
- Had his/her work-related properties (such as a company building, office, farm, and fishing boat) destroyed in the Earthquake in a region subject to the Disaster Relief Act, resulting in a loss of income
- Has evacuated his/her home or workplace as ordered by the Governor of Fukushima Prefecture, resulting in a loss of income
* Applications for the examination fee exemption must include a copy of Risai Shomei-sho ("Disaster Victim Certificate").
